Consequently, 100 g of cooked ham provides between 9% and 10% of the proteins that humans need every day, to which we should add that they are more digestible proteins thanks to the heat process to which they are submitted during production. Besides this, as well as being a very light product, it offers a large amount of minerals, important among which is iron, and it is a good source of vitamins, especially the B vitamins.
